David L. Shine, CIMA®, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, is a native Houstonian with almost 3 decades in financial advisory. He began his career in 1994 with Merrill Lynch, and has built a client base focused primarily on senior management and executives of Fortune 1000 companies, high net-worth individuals, and small business owners. As an attestation to his commitment to today’s high net-worth families, David holds Morgan Stanley’s Family Wealth Director designation. David has been actively involved with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for over 16 years and has served on various committees, including the Wine Sales Committee and Wine Auction Committee. David holds his BBA from the University of Houston.
Laura Owen, CFP

Laura Owen, CFP®, is a native Houstonian and a 3rd-generation financial advisor. Laura joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 and for three years running has reached Morgan Stanley Pacesetter Club status. She is also one of twelve on Morgan Stanley's Greater Houston Women’s Advisory Council. Laura is an active member as well as 2023-2024 chair for the Culture and Enrichment Team with the Junior League Houston, and sits on the Advisory Board for The Women’s Fund, a 501c3 non-profit. Laura holds her BA, cum laude, from American University in Washington, DC.
