Rebecca brings more than 25 years experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Laurus Energy she was President Gas and Power at BHP Billiton and served as a member of the BHP Billiton Executive Committee. She was responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s natural gas marketing and commercialization strategy worldwide.

Before that Rebecca was employed by Amoco Corporation, initially as Group Vice President, responsible for Amoco’s natural gas commercialization world-wide, North American natural gas liquids business operations and establishment of its North America trading operations. She was then appointed President and CEO of Amoco Energy Development Company. She also held senior positions at Tenneco Gas Marketing and Panhandle Eastern Pipeline and Trunkline Gas Company. From 1999 to May 2001, she was Chairman and CEO of Enron Global Assets, responsible for the development, construction and operation of Enron’s asset portfolio throughout Asia, Africa and South America.

Rebecca currently serves as director for Granite Construction Company, the fourth largest civil construction company in the United States and Fort Chicago Energy Partners, in Calgary Canada.
