CLASSY CHASSIS™ CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE SLATED FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 13 INSIDE RELIANT STADIUM
7th Annual Event Features American and European Competition Cars
(February 22, 2010) – Car enthusiasts from coast to coast are gearing up for the 7th annual Classy Chassis™ Concours d’ Elegance set for Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the floor of Reliant Stadium in Houston. Benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children™ Houston/Galveston, the vintage car show will showcase more than 120 rare, beautiful and historical cars from across the country and will highlight the most significant American and European competition cars as this year’s special feature. Among the many renowned automobiles on display are a 1948 T26C Talbot Lago Grand Prix, 1948 Delahaye 175S Chapron Cabriolet, 1964 Shelby Cobra and, the Petroleum Museum of Midland, Texas will be exhibiting one of its rare, historical racing machines, the Chaparral. Past examples of rare automobiles have included a 1925 Bugatti Type 35A, 1939 Bugatti Type 57C, 1952 Ferrari 212/225 Touring Barchetta, and a 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Corsa Spyder.

Returning this year and for a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children, guests will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to ride in a Ferrari, Lamborghini or one of many available exotics on hand at our Ride & Drive. All ages will enjoy Classy Chassis™ Concours d’Elegance – from live music to children’s activities – the event provides entertainment for the entire family.

Classy Chassis™ Concours d’Elegance is honored to have Jim Simpson from Whidbey Island, Washington again serve as chief judge of the concours event, leading a team of experts in the selection of award winners. Cars will be judged according to French Concours standards ("judging light") with first, second and third places awarded in each class along with a number of additional special awards, and concluding with the all important, coveted "Best in Show" award announced at day’s end.
Renowned automotive artist Bill Neale will again design the 2010 commemorative artwork reflecting the special feature competition cars, and it will be displayed and auctioned at the private preview and reception held the evening prior to the show at Reliant Stadium.

If you registered prior to the May 31st deadline, your tickets will be mailed to you. If you did not register in advance, please purchase tickets according to the instructions below.
Join Wharton Club of Houston Advisory Board Member and Classy Chassis Chairman Clay Becker for a personal introduction to the show at 1 pm by the main stage.
Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $7 for children ages 6 through 12, and children age five and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster or at the gate on the day of the event. Parking at Reliant Park is $8 per vehicle. Guests purchasing a raffle ticket have the opportunity to win a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350.
