Join Wharton Club members and friends at our annual charity event. This sporting affair raises scholarship funds for area students heading to Wharton.
Our venue this year will be Pine Forest Country Club, a prestigious course in highly-rated West Houston. With 214 beautiful, wooded acres at its disposal, Pine Forest offers fun, yet challenging golf.
Please arrive at 12:00 noon, as tee time will be 12:30 PM, which means the golfers will be busy hitting balls from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Then, starting at 5:30 PM, we'll convene at the Clubhouse and host a reception, tell the golfers how great they are, and generally have some fun. And, you don't have to be a golfer for that part of the festivities! The reception this year will feature a nice TRADITIONAL BUFFET composed of Roast Sirloin - carved tableside with Burgundy Mushroom, Au Jus & Creamy Horseradish Sauces, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roasted Red Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, and Fresh Vegetable Medley. Dessert will include Apple or Peach Cobbler and Vanilla Ice Cream. Three hours of OPEN BAR are included with dinner.
Tickets for golf include greens fees, t-shirt, box lunch, drinks and dinner. Tickets for the reception include golf mementos, drinks and dinner.
