Hello and welcome to the website for the Wharton Club of Houston. If you live in the area and went to Wharton for study, then you are lucky to be a part of the Wharton Club of Houston. With over 500 graduates and undergraduates living in the Houston area, the Club boasts over 150 paid members. Our Club is weighted heavily with owners, partners, C-level executives, and business professionals. I encourage you to tap into our resources for advice, networking and social outlets.
Whatever you are looking for, it is probably here. Whether it is career advice, a sounding board on complex business issues, the inside scoop from a blue chip speaker, an opportunity to get involved in your community, or just a social outing with your peers, the volunteers at the Wharton Club of Houston have arranged no end of activities to allow you to increase and share your business knowledge.
I encourage you to get involved with us. To get something out of the Club, you need to show up, share your opinions and be open about your pursuits. While we’ve all been to Wharton and so all share an interest in business best practices, we also all live in Houston and so share the open, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture that Houston and Texas are so famous for. If you wonder what is happening in the Club, you’ll soon be able to consult our “Success Stories,” a new addition to this website which will showcase just a few of the many instances where Wharton alumni are helping each other achieve their goals.
Also, while you are on our website, you can read more about the backgrounds of just a few of our volunteers, the Board Members. They represent only a small portion of the incredible bench strength that our Club possesses. There are dozens of active members who exert leadership every day pushing forward some activity that contributes to the Club. And there is always room for more. Please contact me with any ideas that you would like to bring to the Club.
Come to an event, share your ideas, collaborate with others on your goals and theirs; and then send me a note about the outcome. I look forward to hearing about your successes!
Regards,
Chris Krummel, President
Wharton Club of Houston
